Applicant Portal

The applicant/policyholder portal allows the applicant to initiate and complete the application during the new business process flow. A secure registration function allows the applicant/policyholder to self-register on the portal by creating a user account to securely access their application. The applicant can complete all application requirements, including e-signatures and authorizations. The applicant can download the completed PDF rendering of the application and any communications between the applicant and Agent can be managed securely within the applicant portal.

The applicant portal serves as a messaging hub to manage communications between the applicant, agent, underwriting tele-services and the Underwriter. The new business process flow for e-issuance delivers the welcome letter and the policy package to the applicant via the portal. On acknowledgement and acceptance of the policy, the applicant portal transforms into the Policyholder portal and enables all Policyholder Self-Service functions. Once the policyholder has created an online account, they can access self-service functions that include:

  • Billing
  • Coverage management
  • Dependent/Beneficiary information management
  • Endorsements for other demographic data changes
